Jewellery & ring repairs.
Victoria James Jewellers undertake jewellery repairs on the premises in our Birmingham Jewellery quarter, Hockley workshop including re-tipping, re-shanks and replacement Diamonds and Gem stones.
As jewellery manufacturers we understand the delicate and complex processes of ring and jewellery repairs and take the upmost care with your items.
We can add gold, or replace worn parts of your rings to help to keep them looking at their best.
If you have already lost a diamond, ruby, sapphire or emerald then we can replace the stone as well as checking the jewellery or ring for needed repairs that may have contributed to the loss of the stone.
If you’ve lost an earring or the claws on your rings are looking thin and worn and may need replacing then, we can help.
We carry out all the repairs on the premises in our Birmingham Jewellery quarter, Hockley workshop.

Jewellery & ring alterations.
We can undertake complete jewellery or ring alterations in 18ct gold or Platinum.
So, if you are want to use the Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds or Sapphires from your old or inherited jewellery, we can work with you to design your new custom, bespoke rings and jewellery to incorporate them. And, it’s all done here in our Jewellery Quarter workshop in Birmingham.
You can use our appointment booking system to arrange an appointment for us to see your items in our Birmingham Jewellery Quarter store.
Please note;
-We only carry out alterations for jewellery that is made up of precious metals & gemstones. We only remodel or remake rings which are to have genuine diamonds & gemstones set into them
-We connot promise to carry out ‘while you wait’ repairs. Items will need to be left with us in order to carry out any work undertaken.
– Maximum of 2 people per appointment.
– We cannot give jewellery quotes over the phone, you will need to book a weekday appointment by clicking the consultation button on this page. (For Saturday repair appointments items may need to be left with us and we will provide quotes via email)
– If Victoria James Jewellers are asked to remove rings from customers fingers by cutting them off then the customer is fully responsible for the repair of the ring. Victoria James Jewellers cannot be held responsible for any damage/costs incurred during the removal of the ring. This service is carried out entirely at the customers risk.
– We do not repair costume jewellery, plated jewellery or jewellery that contains synthetic stones including cubic zirconia or synthetic.
– We reserve the right not to undertake any repair.
